  • Victor Salvador, born in April 1955 in Lima, Peru, is an accomplished artist with an extensive and diverse artistic career. He started his journey at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú in 1971 and later became a drawing professor at the same institution.

    Victor has showcased his work extensively, both in solo and group exhibitions, across various countries including Japan, Germany, Spain, France, the USA, Puerto Rico, Chile, and Mexico. His art deeply reflects the customs, traditions, and everyday life of Huancavelica, offering an authentic portrayal of Andean life without resorting to conventionalism or paternalism.

    He has received multiple awards and honors throughout his career, including the National Painting Contest of Peru (1979-1980), professional titles in Fine Arts and Drawing & Painting, a Silver Medal in 1999, and a special recognition trophy for his artistic trajectory by the Ministry of Tourism in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2014.
