Marita Palomino stands as a multifaceted talent in the artistic landscape, renowned for her work as a visual artist, writer, and educator in folklore. Her academic journey in the arts commenced at the National School of Fine Arts, where she graduated with a specialization in Sculpture between 1991 and 1996, followed by a focus on Education through Art from 1996 to 1998.

Her intellectual curiosity propelled her to pursue further studies across various cultural fields. She studied the History of Civilization at the University of Lima from 1985 to 1986, delved into the History of Culture and Art History at Nueva Acrópolis, and expanded her practical skills in Painting, Sculpture, and Ceramic Workshops, including High-Temperature Baku Ceramics at Taller Tótem from 1993 to 1994.

A graduate of the Folklore Center for Teachers from 2000 to 2002, Palomino has dedicated herself to the dissemination and education of cultural heritage.

Palomino's exhibitions have traversed both national and international venues. Her work has been displayed at the Casa de Osambela and the Banco de Crédito del Perú with "Santa Rosa y su Tiempo" in September 1995, as well as at the Peruvian Embassy in Quito, Ecuador, in July 1997. She showcased her art at the Contemporary Art Museum during the Festival of Actual Art in Cuzco, Peru, in August 1997, and participated in the National University of San Marcos Cultural Center exhibition in October 1997. Her sculptures have been featured at the Nation’s Museum in May 1998 and at the Triennial of Ceramics at the Peruvian British Cultural Center in December 1999.

Her personal exhibitions include "Cuidando El Fuego" at the ICPNA Gallery of Lima in February 1999 and "Aves sin Cielo" at the Antares Cultural Center in October 2005.

Palomino's talent has been recognized with accolades such as the Second Honorable Mention and the Anti-Drug Struggle Trophy from the Ministry of Interior in December 1998. She was awarded for "Key Population of the 21st Century" in the United Nations Poster Contest in March 1998, and she secured the Second Prize in Ceramic Specialty from the Banco de Crédito del Perú in September 1998.
